Monday Night Football: Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks

We are now featuring another exciting Monday Night Football game. On the third week of Monday Night Football, we will now have the Green Bay Packers vs the Seattle Seahawks.

Green Bay strikes the way after playing its preliminary two games of the 2012 NFL regular season in the Lambeau Field, as it will show on ESPN’s Monday Night Football for the 20th straight season. The Packers have scored an amazing 9-3 record in prime-time games since the 2009 campaign, while grabbing six of the last seven battles in this said series. Since head coach Mike McCarthy lead on the sidelines in 2006, the franchise has gone 10-3 in regular season games against NFC West challengers.

The Packers have been successful in the 10 of their last 11 road games, while also posting a league-best 8-2 record in September games away from Lambeau Field under McCarthy’s coaching. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be posting his eighth career start in this prime-time encounter, throwing for 1,899 yards and 15 touchdowns with eight interceptions. Green Bay has averaged 28.1 points per game in Rodgers’ 64 career regular-season starts, which ranks first in the league since 1950.

The Seahawks shouldn’t modify their ball control style in this event, with the Packers allowing 140 rushing yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry. Seattle is 17-8 in its 25 previous meetings on Monday Night Football, which is really the NFL’s best winning percentage on television.
